Our sugar shack is the heart of the Bayfield Maple operation. Here is where we bring the sap collected from the maple trees in our two sugar bushes to be boiled into sweet maple syrup.

Our current sugar shack was custom built from shipping containers. These containers were put in place using a crane and became the main structure . Designed by Thomas and Chris Brandon from CLB construction the sugar shack is on the property of Thomas’s parents Jorg and Silvia Genoch with 1500 taps on site .
